ISTblast Rubber Belt Tumble Blasters deliver efficient, affordable batch processing to automate the cleaning, peening, and finishing of workpieces varying in size.

The endless rubber belt keeps parts gently tumbling as they are exposed to blast streams on all surfaces. This system is ideal for batch processing a set of small pieces at once, as well as relatively heavy, complex-shaped parts that would be hard to handle in a traditional sandblast cabinet.

HOW IT WORKS

Simply load parts on the rubber belt and set the timer, then return later to unload perfectly cleaned or finished parts.

As parts tumble, three or more nozzles uniformly blast all exposed surfaces to deliver a consistent finish automatically. Nozzles are mounted on an oscillating blast gun to ensure maximum coverage of all parts.

Parts tumble on a thick, perforated rubber belt which allows blast media to fall through. Blast media is continuously reused after being cleaned by a cyclonic separator to sort out dust and process contaminants, returning only blast media in good shape back to the blast nozzles for optimal results.
