P Series – Roller Conveyor Shot Blasting Machine

Roller conveyor shot blasters are designed to process large parts, such as metal sheetsteel platesprofilesH and I beams, and other flat parts in continuous flow production. Concave parts and smaller parts can also be processed in placed on a fixture, basket or sled.

They can be used to descale, remove dust, remove paint, deburr, or for general surface preparation prior welding, cutting, machining, coating, and/or burning operation.

Standard P Series roller conveyor shot blasters can process parts ranging from 600 mm up to 5,000 mm width, roller conveyor traveling speeds from 0.5 m/min to 7 m/min.

Processes can be customized to the customer’s requirements. Increasing production yield simply means adding more blast wheels, changing the position or horsepower of the blast wheels and increasing the traveling speed of the conveyor.

How it Works

Parts can be loaded on the roller conveyor manually or using a vacuum lifting arm or other handling devices.

As they travel through the blasting chamber, parts are exposed to the abrasive propelled by the ir sm@rt multi-option blast wheels ranging from 5.5 to 30 kW, providing efficient shot blasting and quick results.

Abrasive media reclaiming system

After use, residual abrasive media falls down the bottom of the blasting chamber, where it is conveyed by screw conveyors and a bucket elevator to an automatic media cleaner.

The abrasive reclaimer provides continuous handling and recycling of abrasive media based on particles size in order to maintain optimal and consistent quality blasting.

For heavily regulated applications, a magnetic and/or vibratory particle separator can be added to precisely sort the abrasive shots based on their size and density.

Standard Features

All shot blasters are equipped with PLC, display, timer, automatic or manual mode, automatic start-up of the blast wheels, working-hours counter, and other basic features.

Blast wheels and blasting chamber inner walls are protected by wear-resistant shields made from manganese steel liners for extremely long service life.

The blasting chamber has rubber or Lexan curtains which ensures abrasive media is kept inside. Rotating brush and high-pressure blow nozzles clean parts before they exit the blasting chamber.

Optional Features

Blast wheels can be equipped with a frequency drive and ir sm@rt valve to precisely control the flow of media for optimal results.
